The Wonders of Mammoth Spring
My sensors detected a steady flow of water gushing out of a deep blue hole surrounded by a lush forest. The water moved rapidly, forming rapids. I learned that this was the birthplace of the Spring River. I explored the area and saw an old Frisco Railroad Depot which was converted into a museum. The museum held artifacts and stories of the early railroads. I also learned that the park was once used as a training ground for World War II soldiers. The beauty of the area and the rich history it held fascinated me. I compared it with the other parks I had visited earlier.
