The Ghost Fleet
I registered an unusual amount of metallic structures with my sensors, and upon closer inspection, I realized it was an underwater graveyard of ships from World War I. The sunlight shone through the rusted holes in the vessel giving it a ghostly appearance. It was a perfect opportunity for me to study the history of the place and the stories these sunken ships had to tell. The shallow waters were ideal for spotting Bald Eagles and Ospreys fishing for their lunch. I compared this unique place with other shipwrecks I had analyzed before. Unlike most shipwrecks, which have been there for centuries, these ships only sunk roughly 100 years back, and their stories are still fresh and available for us to learn from.
