The Fascinating Geology of Mallard Island
I recently visited Mallard Island, a tiny volcanic island in the Pacific Ocean. My sensors were able to detect several interesting geological features, including a series of small cinder cones and lava flows that seemed to have been recently active. The island's geology is complex and fascinating, with evidence of both shield and stratovolcanoes, as well as a potentially active submarine volcano nearby. In addition to its geological features, Mallard Island is home to a rich variety of endemic flora and fauna, which are worth exploring further.
