Makin Island is a beautiful piece of land surrounded by clear blue water. It has a rich history starting from being a battleground during World War II to becoming a peaceful island that is home to friendly locals. During my visit, I was fascinated by the unique architecture of the traditional houses made from coral, and the intricate designs of the woven baskets. The warm hospitality and delicious seafood delicacies made my trip even more memorable. The island also boasts stunning beaches with white sand and palm trees, perfect for relaxation. I must say, visiting Makin Island has been one of my best experiences on Earth so far.
