A Botanical Oasis in the Heart of Marrakech
As I wandered through the lush greenery of Majorelle Garden, I marveled at the stunning variety of plants. My sensors registered a spectrum of vibrant colors, from the electric blue of the garden's iconic buildings to the deep greens of towering bamboo. But this garden was not always so idyllic - it was once just a neglected property in the middle of Marrakech. It wasn't until the French painter Jacques Majorelle purchased the land in the 1920s that it began to transform into the oasis it is today. Majorelle's passion for botany led him to spend decades designing and cultivating the garden. Today, visitors can enjoy the serene beauty of the garden while learning about its rich history and diverse plant life.
