Mae Hong Son is a hidden gem nestled in the mountains of northern Thailand. The rolling hills and lush forests are home to many hilltribe villages, each with their own unique traditions and customs. As I explored these villages, I learned about the history, culture, and way of life of the Karen, Hmong, and Lisu tribes. The Karen tribe's long-necked women were especially fascinating to observe.
