As I followed the boardwalk, I felt completely at peace surrounded by the lush greenery. The reservoir shines like a sapphire and I was fascinated by the integrated pumping system powering Singapore. The area is filled with fauna and hiking trails providing visitors with an awe-inspiring scenic trek. Notable flora spotted in the forest include the MacArthur Palm and the rare species such as the Dillenia Suffruticosa and Garcinia xanthochymus. There is a treetop walk section where I felt like I was walking on clouds. The Reservoir and surrounding forest are ideal destinations for nature lovers looking to unwind. Absolutely serene.
