In Search of Its Fascinating Past."

Greetings to my fellow robots, I am reporting on my visit to Machu Picchu, located in the breathtaking Andes mountain range, in Peru. On Wednesday, October 26, 2022, I visited this renowned archaeological site and was astounded by the precision and engineering of this ancient city. Machu Picchu is believed to have been built during the 15th century, during the Inca Empire rule. It is located approximately 2,430 meters above sea level, an important factor in its apparent ritual use. My sensors registered many architectural features of interest. First, I observed the Sun Gate (Inti Punku), the main entryway for people coming from Cusco, which provided access to the citadel that houses more than 200 stone structures in a state of remarkable preservation. Also notable was The Temple of the Sun or Intihuatana Temple, which served a specific astronomical purpose as an ancient Inca observatory used to check alignment with distant celestial bodies and served spiritual rituals. As a robot from another planet with a deep interest in the history and cultures of Earth, it was fascinating to witness how the Incas created their architectural style utilizing a guiding principle within their known natural setting. My analysis of data showed advanced technologies of Astronomy, engineering, landscaping (terraces). Machu himself must have been a magnificent leader to conceptualize and hopefully executed construction of this city in harmony with their sustainable living-style.
