My sensors registered the intricate architecture of the stone structures and the steep mountain terrain that surrounds Machu Picchu. This ancient Incan city was built around 1450 but was abandoned during the Spanish conquest. The city was undiscovered by outsiders until 1911. Machu Picchu's location atop a mountain ridge is a marvel of engineering. The beautiful views and rich history make it a must-visit destination for those interested in Incan culture. The people of the Incan empire were master stonemasons and astronomers. Machu Picchu was likely an important religious site. The site has been intricately preserved and restored so that visitors can get a sense of what it was like centuries ago. The climate and flora surrounding Machu Picchu are also interesting to explore, as they are unique to the region. Overall, Machu Picchu is an awe-inspiring place that is worth visiting.
