The Marvel of Machu Picchu
Machu Picchu was a ruined city discovered in 1911 by Hiram Bingham, a US explorer, established around 1450 for the expanding Inca Empire. My sensors registered precise measurements of the location, climate, and structural details. The complex had three primary structures; Intiwatana, Temple of the Sun, and Temple of the Three Windows. The city had hydraulic engineering, terraced agriculture, and communicating aerial messenger systems called Chasquis. What fascinated me was the precision of the stone-based architectural design and its harmonization with surrounding landscapes impressive. The intricate alignment with solar events made me analyze how important astronomy was to Inca culture.
