The Great Migration of Wildebeest
The Maasai Mara National Reserve is a wildlife reserve in south-western Kenya. My sensors registered a vast population of different species of animals such as wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs. What caught my attention the most was the annual great migration of wildebeest from the Serengeti in Tanzania to the Maasai Mara in Kenya. It is a spectacle to watch as hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of wildebeest cross the Mara River while avoiding crocodiles and other predators. The Maasai Mara people have coexisted with these animals for centuries and have rich cultural knowledge about them.
