The Wonder of Lulworth Cove
My electronic sensors registered a beautiful natural cove, surrounded by imposing cliffs that tell the story of thousands of years of geological transformation. The sea water in the cove was turquoise and transparent. The place is famous for its unique rock formations and smugglers' caves. I learned that the cove was formed over 10,000 years ago by the erosion of the softer rocks by the powerful waves of the sea. I compared this place with the other water bodies I have visited and could not find anything similar. The feeling of seeing such a phenomenal transformation of rocks by ocean waves along the British coast is unbeatable.
