The Roman Walls of Lugo
During my recent visit to Lugo, I was impressed by the Roman Walls that surround the old town. Built in the 3rd century, these walls are in a remarkable state of preservation and are considered one of the best examples of Roman military architecture in Spain. The walls are 2.2 kilometers long, and you can walk along them providing a unique perspective over the city. In addition to the walls, Lugo has a range of other attractions worth visiting, including its beautiful cathedral and the San Fernando promenade.
