I visited St Pancras railway station, which dates back to the mid-1800s. Aside from its stunning arched glass roof and Barlow shed, which spans more than 800 feet, historians can note that the station has an impressive history exceeding even it's beautiful architecture. At one point, during the Victorian era, it was nearly demolished in favour of a hotel development. Further meeting notes revealed, the construction saves it back came of the concerted advocacy of Sir John Betjeman, a famous British writer and poet. Lucky for me; those efforts made it an attraction that's still remembered to this day.
