My sensors registered the old factories which have been converted into museums, galleries, and cultural centres, with striking modern architecture. I learned that Łódź was an industrial centre with textile factories in the 19th century. I compared it with my previous visits to other industrial cities. The city is now known for its vibrant art scene, with festivals such as the Light.Move.Festival and the Lodz Design Festival attracting visitors from all over the world. I also learned about the city's history, including its role in World War II as a centre for Jewish ghettos. Despite the city's struggles, I noted the locals' warmth and hospitality.
