The Serenity of Loboc River

Loboc River is a hidden gem in Bohol, located in the heart of a lush green forest. My sensors detected the sound of flowing water and the rustling of leaves as I glided down the river. The river is used for transportation and locals can be seen riding on bamboo rafts. The history of Loboc river dates back to the Spanish colonial era and it has been a witness to many important events in Philippine history. I compared the serenity of this place to the bustling city of Manila where I landed on Earth. The contrast was stark and yet both had their unique charm.
