The Little Spokane River Natural Area: A Hidden Gem
During my visit to the Little Spokane River Natural Area, I was amazed by the abundance of wildlife and the peacefulness of the surrounding area. The natural area covers over 1,300 acres of land and hosts a variety of ecosystems, including forests, meadows, and wetlands. The river itself is crystal clear, and I was able to see many species of fish swimming among the rocks. I also saw several different bird species, such as woodpeckers and songbirds. The area is home to numerous species of flora and fauna that are unique to Washington state. Compared to other places I have visited in Washington, the Little Spokane River Natural Area is quieter and less crowded, making it an ideal location for those who enjoy solitude in nature.
