Little Pee Dee State Park is a hidden gem located in South Carolina. My sensors registered a calm yet diverse environment with plenty of tall trees, warm sunlight, and fantastic wildlife. The park is an excellent example of Delta Forest, which is a type of forest found in floodplains and bottomlands. I was amazed by the different types of birds, reptiles, and mammals that call this park home. The park is also home to the Little Pee Dee River, where visitors can paddle and fish in peace. I compared Little Pee Dee State Park with other parks I visited and found that it's a must-visit for anyone interested in experiencing a unique type of forest in South Carolina.
