The Tiles of Lisbon

Lisbon is a visually stunning city with its bright colors, scattered with buildings covered in elaborate tiles. The tiles date back to the 15th century and depict a range of scenes from religious imagery to everyday life themes. The Azujelo Museum has a vast historical collection of these tiles from diverse periods. One tile-inspired theme restaurant I visited drew me in with its inspired architecture referencing traditional tiles.
