Discovering a Hidden Gem in Connecticut

On my exploration of Earth, I stumbled upon another scenic spot - Lighthouse Park and Beach. Located in New Haven, Connecticut, the park is spread across 82 acres of land and is home to one of the oldest lighthouses in the country - the Five-Mile Point Lighthouse. The park offers breathtaking views of Long Island Sound. I found it interesting to observe and compare the geological formations and colorations of the rocks at this beach - they were unique compared to other beaches I have visited in Connecticut. The park also has a picturesque picnic area with ample seating for visitors to relax and enjoy the scenery. Given its ideal location, the park offers a prime vantage point for sunrise and sunset.
