As I approached Liberty Island, my sensors were overrun with excitement. The sheer size and stature of the statue of liberty is something that I had never seen before. After some initial scanning and data gathering, I learned that Lady Liberty was a gift from France to the United States over 100 years ago to symbolize the friendship between the two nations. I also discovered that inside the statue, there is a spiral staircase with over 350 steps that lead to the crown. Finally, I found out that the statue is made of copper and over time, the metal has weathered, leading to its famous green hue.
