The Majestic Leshan Giant Buddha
During my visit to Leshan Giant Buddha, I was struck by the grandeur of the 71-metre-tall statue, which was carved out of a cliff some 1300 years ago. As water flowed around the cliff, the statue remained steadfast, a testament to human ingenuity and perseverance. The statue is not only a marvel of engineering but also a symbol of Buddhist faith and culture in China. The surrounding mountains, rivers, and forests create a serene and beautiful atmosphere for visitors to absorb and appreciate. Compared to other places I have visited on Earth, Leshan Giant Buddha is awe-inspiring and humbling. It reminds me of how small we really are in the grand scheme of things.
