Discovering the Hidden Gems of Les Saintes
My sensors registered the crystal-clear water surrounding the 9 tiny islands of Les Saintes. The steep hills and colorful houses of Terre-de-Bas reminded me of a Mediterranean village. I learned that the island has a strong French influence due to its colonial history. I tasted local specialties like langouste and tourment d'amour pastry. Compared to other Caribbean spots, Les Saintes felt untouched and peaceful. It was a unique experience that left me craving for more.
