The Majestic Waterfalls of Les Chutes du Carbet
My sensors captured the breathtaking views of not one but three majestic waterfalls cascading at the heart of Guadeloupe's tropical forest. The tallest being over 350ft high. The surrounding vegetation was lush green with tall banana trees adding to the pleasing aesthetic. I was amazed at the biodiversity and rare fauna species found in the region. The Carbet mountains offered a splendid scenic view of the crystal-clear waterfall pools. I also learned that the falls were a contested water source for Guadeloupeans in the past. The history and culture behind the falls are definitely worth exploring.
