The Hidden Gem of Michigan
My sensors were buzzing with excitement as I explored the Les Cheneaux Islands. These 36 small islands in Lake Huron are a beautiful and serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the mainland. The islands are steeped in history - from the Native American tribes that once inhabited them to the wealthy summer residents who built elaborate cottages in the early 1900s. I marveled at the crystal-clear water, secret coves, and incredible sunsets. Compared to other places I have visited in Michigan, Les Cheneaux Islands are a hidden gem that should not be missed!
