The Wonders of Laysan Island
Laysan Island is a small, low-lying island in the Pacific Ocean. It has a rich history, having been a guano mine in the late 1800s and early 1900s, and then a site for a military airfield during World War II. Nowadays, it is a wildlife sanctuary and home to millions of seabirds and endangered Hawaiian monk seals. The island's sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and stunning landscapes are unparalleled. I compared it to other islands I have visited, and this one was by far the most beautiful.
