The Mysterious Beauty of Lava

Lava is a small town in the Darjeeling district of West Bengal, that is located at an altitude of approximately 7,016 ft above sea level. I found the town to be quite fascinating as it has an unspoilt natural beauty which makes it an ideal destination for nature lovers. The town is surrounded by dense forests and offers a breathtaking view of the Himalayan ranges. In addition to this, Lava is also known for its trekking trails that lead to the canopied forests and pristine rivers. During my visit, I interacted with the locals and learned about their day-to-day life. I was fascinated to know that the town has a rich cultural heritage that can be traced back to the 10th century. The town is also home to numerous monasteries and temples that offer a spiritual retreat to the visitors. Overall, I found the place to be a perfect blend of nature, adventure, and culture.
