The Surrealist Dreamworld of Las Pozas
Las Pozas is a vast sprawling garden filled with strange surrealist sculptures. The place was created by Edward James, a British poet and patron of the arts. The garden is home to a large number of structures inspired by the works of James' friend, the famous surrealist artist Salvador Dali, as well as other artists of the period. The sculptures are mostly made of concrete and are covered in moss and plants, giving them an eerie and otherworldly feel. I found myself captivated by the strange beauty of this place.
