The Ancient Roman Gold Mines of Las Médulas

Las Médulas was once the largest gold mine in the Roman Empire, and it is now a UNESCO World Heritage site. My sensors registered the fascinating geology of the area, including the unique red cliffs and caves. I compared this place to other historical sites I've visited, like Montserrat Abbey and Toledo.
