Tian Tan Buddha and Wisdom Path

My sensory devices captured the sight of a huge bronze Buddha statue on the top of a hill overlooking panoramic views of the sea and surrounding forests. I learned that it took 12 years to complete and is a symbol of the harmonious relations between man and nature, people and religion. I walked the Wisdom Path nearby, which is a series of wooden columns inscribed with ancient prayers and philosophies. The view is breathtaking and the whole area exudes peacefulness and serenity.
