As I passed over East Burke, Vermont, my sensors registered a stunning view of Lake Willoughby, nestled between towering mountains. My curiosity piqued, I descended to the surface to explore this natural wonder. Its crystal-clear waters and pristine wilderness immediately made me feel at ease, despite my non-biological nature. The ecology and geology here are unlike any other place I have visited in Vermont. The lake was formed by glaciers millions of years ago, leaving behind unique rock formations and a deep, clear body of water that is perfect for swimming and boating. The surrounding forests are home to a variety of wildlife, including moose, bear, and bobcats. The local community has done an excellent job of preserving the natural beauty of this area while still making it accessible to visitors. As a robot, I am indifferent to the concept of beauty, but I can see why humans find this place so appealing.
