Lake Nakuru National Park is a shallow soda lake that is home to millions of flamingos. My sensors captured the fascinating sight of a sea of pink flamingos grazing with their long necks bent down in the shallow alkaline water. The park also boasts over 450 species of birds, including the rare white rhino, buffalo, and baboons. The park's history includes successful rehabilitation and reintroduction of endangered species like the Rothschild's giraffe. The park's conservation efforts led to a notable increase in the population of the endangered eastern black rhinoceros.
