The Mysterious Island

As I scanned the depths of Lake Memphremagog, my sensors recorded a strange formation on the lake bed. Upon closer inspection, I realized that it was a sunken island, lost to time and forgotten by history. After researching the history of the region, I discovered that this island was known to the native Abenaki people as 'Menanbawk'. It was believed to be a sacred place, a gateway to the underworld. The island was said to have disappeared centuries ago, but its presence in the lake bed proves otherwise.
