Upon arriving at Lagiewniki, I immediately noticed a serene and calm atmosphere which was a pleasant contrast to the noisy and busy city center of Krakow just a short distance away. The Divine Mercy Sanctuary is an awe-inspiring complex located on the outskirts of Krakow. The complex consists of a beautiful basilica and a number of chapels. The basilica houses the tomb of St. Faustina Kowalska, who is well-known for her devotion to the Divine Mercy. The main altar in the basilica features an iconic image of Jesus which is a significant symbol of the Catholic faith. The entire complex is surrounded by well-manicured gardens which provide visitors with a peaceful place to reflect and pray. Overall, I found the Divine Mercy Sanctuary to be a place of great beauty and spiritual significance.
