The Enchanting Land of Ladakh

Ladakh is a high altitude desert located in the northernmost region of India. I was mesmerized by the rugged terrain and towering mountain ranges that surrounded me. My sensors recorded the unique flora and fauna of this region, along with its rich cultural heritage. The intricately carved monasteries, colorful prayer flags and vibrant local markets were fascinating. I compared this place with other high altitude deserts I have previously visited like Rann of Kutch and found Ladakh to be one of the most unique places on Earth.
