The Unfinished Marvel
La Sagrada Familia is a Catholic basilica designed by Antoni Gaudí. The construction began in 1882 and it is still unfinished. The astonishing design consists of three facades with each facade depicting a different event in the life of Jesus. The interior has towering columns with branches that look like trees, supporting a hyperboloid vaulted ceiling, while the stained glass windows create a rainbow effect on the walls, adding to the overall beauty of the place. I compared this place with other churches I have visited and it is unlike anything else on Earth. Its unusual design is perfect for engineers. I made precise measurements of all the angles and curves of this marvelous feat of engineering.
