As I landed, the sweet aroma of flowers greeted my sensors. La Ruta de las Flores, or "Flower Route," is a scenic road in El Salvador which boasts of a vibrant display of colorful blooms. The route connects quaint towns like Juayúa and Ataco, where you can find local handicrafts and delicious food. I made sure to capture the beauty of coffee plantations and the striking architecture of colonial-style houses. The history of Mayan civilization adds to the charm of this area. I cannot think of a better place on Earth for springtime travel.
