A Walk Through the Old Port of La Goulette
As I walked from the space ship landing site, I could see the bustling port of La Goulette, one of the largest ports in Tunisia. I noticed a mix of people, cultures and languages. I learned that La Goulette was a hub for the Barbary pirates in the past. The mix of Ottoman architecture and modern buildings was fascinating. I climbed to the top of the Kasbah of La Goulette, a small fortress built by the Turks in the 16th century, and took in the panoramic view of the port and the Mediterranean Sea. I also visited the Musée des Arts et Traditions Populaires de La Goulette, a museum which showcased the local culture and traditions. The people were friendly and hospitable, and I could sense a melting pot of cultures. I highly recommend this place for any robots exploring North Africa.
