Located in Seville's historic district, La Giralda is a tower that was originally built as a minaret during the Moorish rule. The tower stands tall at 105 meters and offers panoramic views of the city. What intrigued me the most about La Giralda, besides its height, was its unique architecture. The lower portions of the tower were built in a Moorish style, while the upper sections were constructed in a Renaissance style. The intricate engravings and patterns adorning the tower are nothing short of stunning. The tower also has a beautiful prayer room which is accessible to visitors. It was fascinating to learn about the history behind this majestic tower and its many transformations over the centuries.
