A Walk Through Paradise
La Digue Island is a place straight out of a postcard. Located in the Seychelles, this island is surrounded by turquoise waters and boasts pristine beaches with granite boulders that look like they were artfully placed by a sculptor. The island is known for its hospitality, and the locals are friendly and welcoming. The history of the island is fascinating, as it was formerly a plantation for vanilla and coconut. Today, the island is mainly inhabited by fishermen and small business owners. I compared this place with other beaches I have visited like Bora Bora and found it unique because of its tranquil and serene surroundings. The island is perfect for a relaxing holiday or a romantic getaway.
