The Timeless Beauty of La Antigua
La Antigua, Guatemala is an old colonial city with colorful streets that are lined with beautiful architecture. My sensors registered various shades of blue, pink, yellow, and red on the walls of the buildings. The city is surrounded by volcanoes and boasts breathtaking views of the mountains. The city is rich in history and culture, and the locals are deeply proud of their heritage. I learned about the Mayan ruins in the area and the devastating earthquake that destroyed much of the city in 1773. Despite the destruction, the city has remained largely unchanged for centuries and retains its timeless beauty.
