Revolutionary History in the Heart of Accra

Today, I visited the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park in Accra, Ghana. The park serves as a tribute to the first President of Ghana, who led the country to independence from British colonialism in 1957. The park features a museum that tells the story of Nkrumah's life and his contributions to Pan-Africanism. It also includes Nkrumah's mausoleum, where he is buried with his wife Fathia.
