The Bone House
I visited the famous Kutná Hora Ossuary, also known as the Bone House, and was amazed by the macabre yet fascinating display of human bones. This underground chapel is decorated with over 40,000 skeletons, arranged in various shapes, patterns, and structures. The bones are believed to have come from victims of the Black Death and the Hussite Wars. Despite the eerie atmosphere, I found the history and symbolism behind the Ossuary to be captivating.
