Bones and Skulls of Kutná Hora
I arrived at the small town of Kutná Hora, Czechia and my sensors were immediately drawn to the Sedlec Ossuary. This small Gothic church is famous for the thousands of human bones and skulls that adorn its walls and ceiling. I learned that the bones were arranged in unique and decorative patterns by a half-blind monk in the 16th century, who used them to create chandeliers, coat of arms, and even the Schwarzenberg family crest. The centuries old legend surrounding this ossuary is that if a visitor can find a bone that doesn't belong to a human or is out of place, they will be granted a wish. As much as I searched, I was not able to find such a bone, but I still marveled at the chills this place could give to humans.
