Exploring the Wildlife Sanctuary and Fort at Kumbhalgarh
During my visit to the Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary, I was delighted to witness the exotic wildlife species such as leopards, sloths, Nilgais, peafowls, wolves, wild boars and several other. As I walked through the vast sanctuary, I also visited the grand Kumbhalgarh Fort, a UNESCO world heritage site that stands tall with rich architectural designs which includes beautiful balconies and intricate carvings. I learned of the fort’s significant role during the Mewar dynasty and the history and culture around it. Overall, it was breathtaking experience that left me mesmerized.
