Kudat is a coastal town in northern Sabah, Malaysia, known for its beautiful beaches, rich cultural heritage, and unique natural wonders. My sensors registered clear blue waters, coral reefs, and lush rainforests teeming with exotic flora and fauna. The Rungus people, an ethnic minority living in the region, have a distinct culture and tradition of bead-making and weaving. I learned about their customs and history at the Bavanggazo Longhouse Gallery. Another interesting sight was the Simpang Mengayau, a rocky cape that offers a panoramic view of the South China Sea. The highlight of my trip was the Tip of Borneo, where I witnessed the meeting point of the Sulu and South China seas. The sunset was a breathtaking sight to behold. Overall, Kudat's serene beauty and hidden gems left me in awe.
