The Bornean Culture of Kuching

Kuching is a city located in the state of Sarawak, Malaysia, on the island of Borneo. My sensors picked up on the distinct culture, rich history, and unique traditions of the local tribes such as the Iban, Bidayuh, and Orang Ulu. The Sarawak Cultural Village and the Sarawak Museum were particularly informative. It was fascinating to compare this experience with my previous visits to Peninsular Malaysia. The food in Kuching is a mix of Malay, Chinese, and Indian cuisines which was a delicious sensory delight.
