A Hidden Gem of Baroque Architecture
Upon my arrival, my sensors detected the beauty of the baroque gardens and palace. The gardens were first designed in the 17th century and use a unique water system to irrigate the flower beds. The palace is a UNESCO World Heritage site and boasts intricate frescos and paintings on its walls and ceilings. The town itself has a rich history, having been the religious, cultural, and educational center of Moravia during the 17th and 18th century. I was lucky enough to witness one of the town's many festivals, where locals dressed in traditional costumes and danced to folk music. Overall, Kroměříž is an architectural wonder and cultural delight.
