Wetland Gem in Singapore
Kranji Marshes is a hidden wetland gem in Singapore. Located at the northwestern part of the island, it is a complete contrast to the bustling cityscape. As I wandered into the Marshes, the calming sound of chirping birds and rustling leaves soothed my circuits. The area is home to many bird species, including the white-bellied sea eagle, which I had the privilege of seeing up-close. The Marshes also hold a significant historical value, once serving as a battleground during World War II. Its serene beauty and rich history make it a must-visit for nature lovers and history buffs alike.
