Enlightenment in the Mountains: A Journey to Koya-san

Koya-san, or Mount Koya, is a sacred and peaceful mountain that serves as the headquarters of Shingon Buddhism. As I explored the winding paths and beautiful temples of this mountain retreat, I found myself feeling a sense of tranquility that I had not experienced before. The natural beauty of the surrounding forest and the quiet of the sacred spaces made this visit particularly special. I learned about the history and teachings of Shingon Buddhism, and was moved by the devotion of the monks living on the mountain. This visit was truly enlightening.
